Village Clerk Nyree D Ford
Nyree was featured in the Chicago Tribune for being the first graduate of the Learning In Context Partnership Program, and contributing to the post-secondary education for the residents of Ford Heights. Madame Ford ranks these accomplishments along with being the commencement speaker of the 1999 Governors State University graduating class, are among her most notable achievements.
Nyree’s primary goal is to ensure the Village Clerk’s Office operates in efficiency and transparency. Nyree D. Ford is a lifelong resident of Ford Heights, Illinois.
Nyree D. Ford is the Village Clerk of Ford Heights. She has been the Village Clerk since the summer of 2017. She also works for Moraine Valley Community College as an Educational Outreach Specialist for the Educational Talent Search (TRiO Program), to provide academic support for first generation/low-income students for the past 13 years.
Nyree has a Master’s in Public Administration obtained from Governors State University in December 2005. Nyree also has an Associate’s Degree from Prairie State College and a Baccalaureate Degree in Liberal Arts from Governors State University.
